  2.  THE SEEDS OF DEATH.   Written by Brian Hayles.   6 episodes.

  5.  COMPANIONS:- Jamie and Zoe.

  7.    The Earth is under attack (again) by the Ice Warriors who have taken
  8.  control of the T-MAT system. The T-MAT is a matter transporting system
  9.  which has become the accepted mode of transport, replacing the aircraft
  10.  and ships of today. The Ice Warriors take control of the relay station 
  11.  on the moon and use T-MAT to transport seed pods to Earth. These pods
  12.  release deadly spores which mutate into a fungus and drain the atmosphere,
  13.  making it suitable for the Ice Warriors.
  14.    The Doctor uses the T-MAT to travel to Earth and finds the planet in
  15.  chaos. The Ice Warriors have control of the weather control station and
  16.  are cooling the planet. The Doctor manages to regain control of the station
  17.  and warms the infected areas, causing rain which destroys the fungus.
  18.  The Ice Warriors are despatched using a solar powered gun.
